What is your preferred method of group communication? Discord, Skype, Slack, something else?
I don't communicate.

Hmmm, whatever the group chooses. I've no preference.
>slack
Irc for normies
>>56390535
We use it extensively at work
>>56390370
Telegram for classmates and social stuff.
For work we use slack, although I got access via XMPP. Can't stand a chat full of emoji spam.
For voip Teamspeak, although mumble and tox are fine alternatives too.
>>56390484
this or xmpp.
>>56390551
Exactly, slack was able to make irc cool by making it pretty
>>56390370
discord, because it's the only option popular among my circles that's actually tolerable. can't stand telegram's deceptive marketing re: privacy, even if it works much better than skype, and while i don't personally have a problem with google hangouts of course plenty of other reasonable people do.
>all of these non-distrubuted/centralized chat services.
Jesus, /g/ what a way to fuck up the openness of the internet.
Mumble
>>56390370
Messenger (Facebook)

I'll be switching to Allo from Hangouts for things outside of work

>one of the best messaging apps
>most popular social network site
>literally everyone already there so no need to install other apps
>no need for a phone number
>free calls and video calls, very stable unlike Skype
>hurr get out
>>56391093
funny thing is how people that have social life don't have apps like facebook, and the ones that don't have any are 0/24 on facebook
I communicate on small imageboards where only me and my friends post.
>>56391148
You obviously have no friends, have you?
>>56391244
i was talking about you
>>56391093
>all this and it still sounds like dogshit hitting a fan
just use discord
>>56391286
hurr durr gotem
>>56391286
Ouch what a comeback, good one kid :^)
>>56390370
Slack
>>56391494
>>56390535
Holy shit that's depressing
>>56390370
mumble
Mumble personally, on a few discord rooms but I'm not a huge fan, we use hangouts at work
I've only just finally looked at slack, it seems like irc for normies, but a lot better than that discord shit
>>56392589
>babby's first internet
>>56390370
i don't talk to friends or anyone but if i had to decide i would use irc
>>56390535
Nah, it's much better than irc.
;^)
