Used to use it as a KVM console for a KVM over IP unit that I had.

And still does the occasional DX9 game just fine.

Today I'm getting a c2d with 4 GB of RAM from a friend. Need to put some GPU and PSU in it.

That's the thing, I'll probably use a different distro for servers etc, but it'll be a good learning experience in how to setup a server.
