those are really nice bottles, did you know when you buy one they throw in water for free?
>>
I just got a Zojirushi 16oz thermal bottle today. It's Sweethome's top pick. This thing is godly. Excellent build quality, fantastic heat retention, great materials, and attention to all of the tiniest of details to make life with it more pleasant. It's comfortable in the hand as well. Perfect size.
>>
>>56383087
There is one of these in my fridge right now, but I'm not sure where it came from.

I'm pretty sure it's been refilled, so I just left it there.

I guess it has good aesthetics for my fridge. It's kind of too big though.

I've dropped it on concrete a few times but usually it either hits the cap (hard plastic I believe) and even if it hits the bottom it's pretty tough. All anecdotal tho.

Fun facts about the Klein bottle:
- it has a volume of 0
- it's a 2 dimensional differentiable manifold
- there is no discernible inner and outer side

Mathematically speaking the volume is zero.
It's not orientable.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Volume_form

Disclaimer, I'm not a mathematician and possess only little knowledge in topology
>>
>>56387681
That's exactly why I asked. How could you define a volume if it is not orientable? Not having volume is not the same as having zero volume.
>>
>>56387721
>Not having volume is not the same as having zero volume.
Fair point. I stand corrected.

According to Wikipedia it still has a "density" but that is way over my head.

reminds me of how I water my plants sometimes when I'm in the mood and the weather is fantastic

I go to the local river with a few bottles, fill them up, water my plants, save money on water bill by tremendous amounts because the earth stays hydrated for felt decades.

and suddenly FOSS open source software wrecks shit up.

I got bitten by mosquitos everytime so far though, annoying as fuck to be honest, especially because they always bit me at my back

I suspect some niggers I know talking shit behind my back about me.
Well, I know them fo sho.

>>
>>56391897
what
>>
>>56391931
Well... Yeah.

I felt like an idiot, too. But nobody cares and in the end nothing really matters.
So there's that.

I only started doing this because I have a carnivore plant that dies when watered with tap water. Because tap water was too hard, it nearly died. So I looked what I could do instead and then I found out about doing it this way. It kills flies with ease.

Pretty happy with my little natural bug killer.

It might be chlorine in the water that does the plants in. Trick to avoid this:
>Fill bottle with tap water, leaving 5 cm to the top
>Squeeze bottle so that the water level now is about 1 cm from the top
>Tighten cap
>Put in fridge overnight if you want to drink it yourself, or in room if for plants.
>The under pressure assists in getting chlorine out of the water and traps it in the gas pocket on the top, removing chlorine from the water itself
>Enjoy.

This has worked everywhere I have been with one single exception: Athen, Greece. Tap water there felt like the aftermath of chemical warfare.

That maybe true but zojirushi is pretty good. You buy a zojirushi rice cooker and it you can use it for more than its supposed to. Aside from making rice you can make bread with it, you can cook full dishes in it like you would a crock pot, you can adjust the fluffyness of the rice, etc. Apple on the other hand...
