I'm taking a Comp Sci class and my professor wants to see how advances we all are simply in Linux Mint terminal. I'm not hugely into this kind of stuff, but want to win the war. He's setting us all up on a computer and we all have to try to shut each other down without being shut down ourselves.
Any Tips or advice as to how I can win this kind of war? Any input is appreciated.
I'm mainly looking to be able to shut down the computers on the network WITHOUT having to input ip or passwords

Learn how to make a firewall in bash. Block everything except your outgoing ssh session. You are now indestructible.
