XDCC tutorial v.05
1. What is XDCC?
A way to download files through IRC. It doesn't really on seeders and so far there is no MPAA anywhere near it. XDCC allows you to max out your connection.
2. How to do it?
a. Install an IRC client, on windows IMO mIRC is the best (I had alot of problems with hexchat on linux and windows, downloads would randomly stop), and on linux, mIRC works perfectly in wine (it's what I use right now.).
b. Open https://ixirc.com in your web browser, this is basically an XDCC search engine that searches every popular irc network/channel. There is a few other XDCC search engines, but this one always gets more results.
c. Search whatever your looking for (TV show, Software, Games, Movies, Windows 7, etc)
d. Click on whatever thing you just searched (eg: dark.matter.s1.e6), it should say something like "/msg username xdcc send #333"
e. Add the server to your irc client, and join the channel it is on (/join) (search results should say a channel)
f. Now type whatever /msg command it told you to. It might say "added to queue" or something like that, just wait (its usually a couple minutes) and your download will start.
g. keep xdcc a quiet so the mpaa doesn't come in
usenet used to be top tier back when nzbmatrix was around. once they got shut down it all went to shit
I use private DDL and torrent sites

usenet went auto take downs years ago and I abandoned it?
because im not paying for a newsgroup subcription never again. its not 1992 anymore.
Because I still have usenet posts from when I was a 14yo archived by google. I cringe when I read them.

someone post the usenet chat logs from the 90s that are virtually indistinguishable from /g/
