I recently installed windows again because

but fonts in firefox render like shit, as if there is no anti aliasing at all. Firefox on linux renders fonts just fine, how do I make firefox on windows also render fonts properly?

Install mactype.
It replaces windows fontrenderer with freetype. Makes windows font rendering look like pic.

Not sure if it works on windows 10 though.

From your screenshot, cleartype is on. You just need to adjust it to your liking with "ClearType tuner".
