Lastpass with 2 factor using Authy. It's just too convinient on phones with a fingerprint sensor. I remember important passwords like my Google account, email, banking, owncloud and use keys instead of using passwords for things like SSH. That way even if Lastpass did have access to my passwords, they can't do much.

I take 4 random words, translate them into 90's slang, substitute a random character in each word with one that doesn't even make sense, then add a random character at the end. I don't use any spaces because nobody lets you use spaces. If I forget my password, I have to unlock a rar file with the password I'll always remember, then unlock the second rar with my other memorable password, then open the word file and get a hint that makes me go duh. Not fool proof, but I'm only aiming to protect myself from malicious individuals, not the fbi.

I don't see how that makes password managers bad. You can get any password with physical access to their computer/person. Even if they're not using a password manager.

Besides you can't do shit with my passwords to online banking, my main email and any other accounts that I actually care about since they all use 2FA of some sort.

Not the other guy but i just recently switched from keepass to pass too.
KeepassX did not really have all the features Keepass had, while Keepass on the other hand uses mono so it works like shit and looks like shit.
You can use pass from commandline if you like, but there is ncurses gui, qt gui, whatever gui and basicly it just gives you so much more possibilities to set it up the way you want it.
