That's a horrible comparison and the person who did it is a retard.
There's not one kind of "graphics" for unity, and another kind of "graphics" for unreal. It depends on shaders used and other things. You can't just pop a model into both and compare how it looks because you would be just comparing the default settings which doesn't mean shit.
That's not to say unity and ue4 can't be compared in terms of what graphics they're capable of displaying, just not like this.

GIMP is not bad if you compare it to other non-paid software. The fact that is always compared to photoshop only proves its success ,even if its not good enough to replace it or substitute it.
