Hello guys. I heard you don't like VLC.
What's wrong with it? It has:
- 11 Video. 6 Audio Output methods
- Video Effects, Equalizer, Synchronization
- Can Stream and can convert files.
- An extensive list of settings.
- Can play damaged files.
- Can change font and positioning
etc.
Why don't you like it and what alternative you use?

Both MPC-HC and mpv have more options and are better performing than VLC. There's no reason to use it.

Maybe if you convert files with it it might be useful, but you really should use ffmpeg or a frontend for that.

The only problem with VLC is that it starts slowly.
mpv doesn't have a gui and doesn't have all the settings at a click of the mouse.

VLC is pretty good out of the box.

But I'm liking MPC-HC + madVR, even though I'm not an anime faggot.
