From an i5 you get
-turbo boost
-cores (only on desktop i5's)
-better integrated graphics

So, just look at whether or not you need those.

6100 with a bclk OC will be good for years.

what makes you think it's bad? it's faster out of the box than intel's older quad core i5s and i7s.

it will be fine. battlefield isn't CPU heavy in the slightest.
