It is my understanding that soon there will be no need for GPUs. Then CPUs. At least, those that are built in, local, hardware. The cloud will provide your processing. No more buying new hardware...just update and pay for your speed. Like a monthly or yearly plan. And the limits of power is only by how much or how little money you have.
