Who knows more about technology, /g/ or reddit?
Neither, both are shit.
Slashdot and SoylentNews
Objectively reddit
Most of their tech subs have real world experts

Agreed.

KEK!
Definitely /g/
/g/ confirmed smartestest
Overall, /g/. If you choose the best few people from both, reddit probably wins by a landslide.
Surely there are more experts on reddit considering the difference in size. The average person here might be slightly more competent given that we're allowed to say mean things to each-other.

reddit. Just look at the shithole /g/ became

This.
/g/ just pretends to know more.
>>56352258
/g/ is filled with edgy teens that know only how to rice their new arch installs with anime. Would you really trust these NEETS over the people on reddit that have proven to be experts?
Just look at /dpt/, half are discussing about fizzbuzz, every single fucking thread. Fucking normies.
Things were different 10 years ago.

reddit sucks only in big subreddits
small and medium subreddits with decent moderation are light years ahead of 4chan boards on any topic.
4chan suffers from it's "anonymous" connotation. it attracts anti-edgy contrarians to many boards, worst example being /mu/.

Spot on. Smaller niche sub reddits are better than anything on /g/.
