No stupid questions containment thread.

I want/need to get a laptop. I'll be overseas working and leaving in a week, wont need it straight away (though that would be nice).

Multi purpose with some gaming and light weight/portability would be nice.

I was thinking of holding out for the GTX 1060 laptops.

In that range the yet to be released MSI GS43VR in 14 inch says it is about 3.8 lbs.

Been considering a new PC for a while when heard about 1070/1060 being so efficient they can be put in laptops too. May just go for a laptop, but the price premium is pretty much $1000 over an equivalent ~$700 desktop.
