Greetings /g/
I'm building a small, compact PC that is portable but is powerful enough to get the job done when it comes to editing and light gaming.
I'm looking for a processor with and integrated GPU. I'm looking for something on the more poweful side (powerful for integrated GPU's, that is)
And it looks like the Iris pro 6100 or the intel 540
However most of these processors are for laptops and i need one for, again, a small compact desktop.
Any chance someone here can help me find one?
Please and thanks.

I think i would rather have an intel 540, as heat from the Iris Pro might be a little too much to deal with in a little machine.

Not sure if this is what i'm looking for.
I need something that will fit into a mini ITX motherboard.
I really appreciate the help though!

That's a whole computer. You don't need anything else besides peripherals. What's your budget? The Zotac ZBOX is pretty good and small, but expensive.

This may sound silly but i would rather build it myself.
I'm learning how to build PC's and this is a project i'm giving myself to help get some experience.
As far as budget goes, I don't have a set budget. I figured I would find some parts and just see how much it costs. I've never done this before.

What you are looking for is kinda difficult to achieve, since the latest and best iGPU are reserved for mobile CPUs. How about using a small form factor but powerful GPU such as this one

Blow it out your ass

Sorry if I posted on the wrong board. apologies.

Alright. :)
That's a good idea.
Do you know how hot those things get?
since i'm using a smaller case i'm going to have to figure out where and how to place my fans.

This one is better, but more expensive:

Here's a comparison between the two, showing performance, temperature and power consumption:

Perfect. Thank you for helping!

No problem, have fun with your project.
You may know this already but don't forget to look into a fully modular psu! That'll make life so easy for cable management.

Thanks, i'll look into it
