Does it have a dickport? So i can fit my dick in it?
>>56335344
Please anser quick. i need to know
If you buy barebones and have the other parts these are good. Otherwise not quite worth it, you could just buy a laptop with a hdmi.
I made a mini itx with an a10 as a media/htpc/general purpose "house" computer. Killer setup, and could even manage some gaming

nope
>>56335344
Yeah, don't you see it? The port for your dick is to the left of the USB. It should fit perfectly.

good for simple tasks. should be fanless, though.
NUCs aren't worth buying until they support HEVC decoding, HDMI2 and 4k at 60hz

I'm using a chinese ~$100 Atom-based media box as HTPC / web browsing computer.
Works great.
Got an i3 Brix, works good as a HTPC
Different form factor, but I've got a couple of Intel Compute Sticks tucked behind my TVs where I don't even have to see them. They're great for HTPCs, but the lack of USB ports or onboard ethernet would have me pissed if I didn't get a good deal on them. As it is, I have to use a powered hub and USB ethernet adapter on them.

Mind posting the model? I am interested.

I heard that cheaper models can't even play Youtube videos
I want to buy a NUC for relatives but a bit scared to fuck myself over since they seem to be overpriced AF

Pipo X7S.
Note that in the meantime, there are already newer Atom chipsets and devices with more RAM on the market. Plus a bunch with eSata or USB3.
I'd presumably buy a newer model if I bought it now, despite this device being adequate.

No problem.
If you need a bunch of stores where you can see what's currently popular and actually order these, try checking the stores from the wiki in the csg thread.
