Chrome is only bad if you have less than 8GB of RAM and an old style spinning HDD. Only 8GB+ and an SSD can handle Chrome.

So Silicon Valley and other technologists are literally the only ones who can reliably run it because Google only internally tests it on the above specs. Everyone else is left in the dust (or on Firefox).

Chrome is safer than most other browser. Also all my favorites and password are stored in my Gmail account which is protected by double access with Google auth. My fear is not that Google knows that i masturbate on /gif/, my fear is that some fucking russian will hack my mail, and honestly Gmail and Google Chrome are not only the best browser and mail provider, but also the safest One.
