It isn't. Every fucking computer I've installed 10 on has developed bugs. Every single installation.
From small things like the Start Menu not opening or lagging, to the computer refusing to sleep or shut down when it feels like it.
Meanwhile 7 is polished and rock solid, hell even 8.1 with a 3rd party Start Menu is more stable than 10.

7 was about 4% faster than 10.
7 and 8.1 are the same.
