Wendell and Qain can afford to lose money. One has his own business and probably one of the brightest minds i know in a person on YouTube, which would constitute a population of about 0.000001% on the site.
Qain is a meme, but also has skills and intelligence for all the self-sufficiency he wants.
The only problem about Wendell is that he is too good of a person. However the good thing is that setbacks can't harm him, they can only make him stronger from experience, because he's the kind of guy who learns and adjusts.
Logan is a stepping stone, a lesson in tempering Wendell's people skills.

Logan and the Tranny however...
The only way they can get anywhere in life is by deceiving and petty scheming.
One is a mentally unstable gaymer idiot who will be stuck in the teenage faze for the rest of "her" life, who doesn't have any tangible life skills and only knows gayming; while the other is the mental equivalent of a chicken who only knows how to peck for bits and pieces on the ground left by others. I'm not too choked up to see this happen. Wendell have the show an air of credibility on the tech side. It'd be great to see him do more on the server/enterprise side of the house. Qain was a sysadmin who uses gentoo ffs. He could do install guides, ins and outs of kernel compiling, patches, systemd, SEL, etc. Programs in Linux that compete with their Windows counterparts. I've been a member since they nearly started.
For the past few years, you could see this coming. They got too big, some people didn't know how to handle it.

I mean the community went from a really great place, to something even worse than /g/ filled with 12 year olds. You've gotta be pretty shit to be worse than /g/. It was just the worst most of the time.

It just snowballed so hard in the past few months. It really started to take speed when they started pushing for money and subs. It was just a matter of time.

Teks always had a bad habit of getting rid of their good talent and keeping the bad. Maks for example, while Pistol being relevant to anything in the tek is beyond me.

That begin said, hopefully Wendell and Qain continue to give back to the community if they want. They're 2 completely different personalities that are really good at it. I have no doubt they could find more like minded people to work with.
