I've decided to finally join the distro master race and install Gentoo. Right now I'm doing it in a VM so I can get the hang of things first, but I might replace Arch with it. What I want to know is what USE flags do you use and what does your make.conf look like?
How about you go spend some times with your sister/cousin you huge fucking nerd? Don't you think she misses you even a little bit?

Autsim?
Nothing but shitposts huh? Well, fuck you too!
Gentoo running smoothly. Suck it fa/g/s my autism > (((you)))!
What I did was go through the list of global USE flags on the gentoo website and just add all the ones i thought I needed or added features I liked
1) get sane base USE flags by seleting a profile matching close to your use case
2) adjust things closer to what you are looking for, just one or few USE flags needed usually (I only gotUSE="$USE pulseaudio -gtk")
3) add hardware support and optimizations flags for your system (you need to lookup these for your own system, mine are:USE="$USE vaapi")
CPU_FLAGS_X86="avx mmx mmxext sse sse2 sse3 sse4_1 sse4_2 ssse3"
INPUT_DEVICES="evdev synaptics"
VIDEO_CARDS="intel i965"
4) Do the per package level USE flag tweaking in /etc/portage/package.use/
