What am I in for? I've tried Kubuntu before, this one feels like it runs somewhat smoother.
Certainly looks more comfy.

why, anon?

I've heard that Debian is complicated, so I really shouldn't touch that.
I like KDE better anyway, and that Mint Debian thing only comes with Cinnamon or MATE.

There's nothing complicated about Debian, don't believe in this shit. If you want to try it then just dive in, I'm pretty sure you won't encounter anything a normal google search couldn't solve.

LINUX MINT debian EDITION
it's literally just debian with all the visuals and hard shit done for you. Also, you do realize that apt-get lets you install new DEs?
>>56294344
this is true, but the only problem is the debian installer is terrible. Most people I know can't get past it.

what the fuck am i reading?
Its basically the same end user wise, you just need to install the same packages you knew from ubuntu or mint to get literally the same distro , just without unity and with different package repositories.
In other words its not harder, it just takes extra steps you dont normally do on a system so its more work and more control.

You should have stayed with Kubuntu
The mint fags can't handle new releases properly

Good choice, anon

This. Linux mint security is a joke.

Xubuntu is better than any mint.
Mint just works. Haven't tried Mind KDE though.
