Something spooky also happened to me few days ago.
First time in many years - I've managed to get a virus and It was probably from a cracked game - I got from piratebay
I've got a bitcoin miner in background.. which scared me into believing my video card was overheating in stand-by.
Malware-bytes successfully removed it and it's all fine.

but the actual files came from Unlocker (also source of babylontollbar), tho i remember moving a .exe to my system32 folder hehe, it was 3 am and i was sick of trying to erase a bonjour folder
