Tell me, /g/: What do you think about BLU phones?

The BLU Life One X is pretty damn competitive, based on specs.
Anyone here have experience with it?

I've had a Life One X since March. I'm waiting on it be being returned after being RMAed. Within a month there was a dead pixel then the following month the power button fell off. Neither of which really bothered me for $150. After another couple of months a weird discoloration started happening down the left side of the screen so I sent it back for repair. For the money and apart the build issues I've been happy with it.
The customer service is lacking somewhat. I had to pay to send it to Blu and wait what will be two weeks by the time I get it back. LG on the other hand sent me a replacement phone and a label to print to return it for free once that had arrived. Two weeks without your phone is too long to wait really.

Oh, that's unfortunate.
Actually had the Studio x Plus for a good year or so now, it's held up exceptionally well for what I paid for.

Unlike this guy mine is in pretty good condition, the only real problem is battery life, but I also picked up a cheep ass power cell off Amazon for like 20 dollars, so I'd say for the 160$ I spent in all, for what the phone does? Pretty good deal.

I think they are pretty bold.

Even he said he was pretty satisfied with how much he paid despite the problems.

Me again. For $150 it is an amazing phone overall with great specs. I've been really happy with it. Downsides are the extremely long charge times, the camera exaggerates whites too much and Blu seem to have reneged on their promise to update the phone to Marshmallow which was originally promised for Q1 2016.
Mediocre.
I paid 80$ for this and it has a stock lollipop rom. very nice phone.
Both Studio X and Studio 6.0 HD suck.
6.0 is better than the X tho
Have a Blu R1 HD as a backup and fuck around phone. works pretty well. had root in less than a month along with getting rid of amazon ads so only had to pay 60$ for a decent phone that does most things well. but still not a nexus

It's a smart direction for Amazon to go, though.
I managed to import a Studio G into the UK. Admittedly, after a little tweaking, the phone started to behave beautifully (it initially thought it was still in the states). My only real gripe is that it'll play everything but Pokémon GO.
Never gets any updates
Cheaply made
trash screens
No custom rom support

the R1 hd looks like it might get rom support. just check the XDA page on it. Probably because its a extremely cheap phone with decent specs.
