Ive used them with arduino. First I tried the low power module - couldnt get it to work > 5 meters.

I managed to get the high powered module to work at about 50 meters by soldering a capacitor onto the chip, and lowering the bitrate to 250kbps(from memory)

They were terrible for what I was trying to do, which was make a transmitter for a quadcopter
