Hey /g/, I am basically technologically illiterate so bear with me. I've been trying to teach myself Java and am looking for a computer to do Web Development stuff with.
My current laptop is a Lenovo Ideapad and it's an absolute piece of shit, even though it seemed like a good choice in the store. So I decided we could have some healthy debate over what the best laptop would be on the market right now.
I'm not doing this for free advice (alone), I'm curious as to what everyone's opinions would be and what the general consensus is. I'm looking for something between 1000 and 2000 dollars but feel free to discuss anything.

I use the Acer Aspire V Nitro. For 750$ it's a pretty solid laptop. You can customize it on Newegg if you want better parts, too.

Lel, I have Battletoads, used to play when I was little.
I'm not going to be doing any gaming on the laptop, I'm mostly streaming videos and when I start on web development, then that as well.
