i have no issues with firefox even if i have hundreds of tabs open with lots of multimedia/flash/javascript going on, even if i just highlight the tab title and arrow key across all of them at max speed.

I don't even have a particularly good computer, it's just an i5-4460 and 8gib of ram. Something is wrong if firefox a shit for you. Maybe do a fresh install of winblows?
