I alternate between chrome and firefox.
I mainly use chrome solely for 4chan.

I use Opera. Opera is the fastest browser I have used so far and it I has the best bookmarking system on a browser. Also I find the aesthetics of Opera to be very clean and I find it appealing. Opera also has its own built in VPN which I use to watch things from American websites.

For some reason Firefox, Palemoon, and Waterfox are laggy as fuck on my computer. computer. Maybe I have installed too many add-ons?

Yeah it is free and I am using the latest version of Opera. You have enable the VPN in the experimental features section. It's pretty easy to do, just read through the help guide.

Opera is a chromium browser that's why it's fast. The reason it's faster than chrome is it doesn't have Google bloatware and ad pushing, instead it actually offers to block ads. I like it overall but I still prefer Firefox since it's very customisable.

I got fed up with Chrome lagging really bad in the last few updates, tried Opera and it was good except for a few minor things that bothered me.
Then I decided to give Firefox another try after having it used at work, it was okay until I installed like 3 addons and it started to lag like a piece of shit.
Installed Firefox ESR and the problem was still there.
Now I deleted everything Firefox related off of my PC and installed Cyberfox because i wanted to give it a try.
Seems real fast, I like it. Gotta try a few more addons now

Also, does anyone use an addon for vertical tabs which is not 'Tree style tabs'? Not sure if it's a problem, but it seems to lag real bad most of the time when I used it

Firefox because back in 2006 when i was finally starting to become conscious of how bad IE was to use it was the first browser i found.

As i have had no reason to change browsers since I have stuck with it.

In Safari 10 you can display completely native UI in extensions and have access to all of AppKit and Foundation giving you way more power than Javascript alone.
