Tux is the best thing that has ever happened to Linux.
Fite me /g/
>look up native Linux games in repos
>find Freedroid
>post-apocalyptic, isometric RPG
>looks promising
>you're playing as a fucking penguin
FUCKING DROPPED
>>56242471
Just replace tux
>>56242400
How would /g/ go about redesigning Tux for the new age?
>>56242488
atleast his hands are correct color
>>56242487
I don't want to modify the game, I just want to play sometimes. The problem with Linux gaming isn't just that it can't run Windows games, but that there are no native games as well.
>look through """"games"""" section of the repo
>[x] aims to provide an engine for....
>[y] is an open source port of Foo's engine without any content as of now.......
>[z] is a framework for building isometric......
There's no content.
In all of Linux software, there are 2 racing games, a handful of platformers (all of them with penguins) and 50000 fucking chess games, 95% of them for the command line.

More and more games are coming to the Linux platform however. I'm able to play a lot of my steam games naively and that's cool even if SteamOS completely bombs. Linux gaming is picking up pace but it is slow and steady.

I don't mind the penguin but fuck that particular drawing
so, so many better logos have been presented over the years and Torvalds is too much of a cunt to change this goofy ass looking shit
>>56242488
It's impossible, Tux is already perfect.
>>56242488
>>56242578
Have you tried installing steam?
