I'm actually having a much better time on RRO.
I used CM12.1 for a while, but when CM13 came out, I tried it & RR before making my choice.

The biggest improvements by far came from flashing kernels.
Squid's kernel is legendary. There's a new OC kernel coming up too.
Feeling mighty bummed about the 3rd Gen switching to MediaTek.

In summary:
1. Get adb & fastboot on your computer.
2. Flash TWRP to your phone's recovery partition. Also flash modem partition if required.
3. Get ROM/kernel on your phone's internal storage.
4. Use TWRP to install.

More detailed steps are available all over xda. It's really not hard. In fact, the idea is for this to be accessible to anyone.

Did anyone try cm13 on an oneplus 3? On my galaxy s3 it's slow as fuck but i can understand it, the phone is from 2012. I'd like to switch but if the support is shit then i'll look into an alternative. Thanks
