I want to get a decent camera that I would be taking on hiking/camping/roadtrips. I'd like something a little more involved than a point and shoot in playing with accessories and settings for pictures but also not going to be a professional photographer or anything.
I was looking at pic related or a Sony a5100 or a6000. What do you think and are their similar cameras to look into? I'm mostly worried about the zoom on these styles, are there other lens available?

There are loads of nice dslrs at pawn shops for almost nothing. Everyone uses their phones now so no one is buying them anymore.
