I need to know where I can find a 3d model of an internet representation, one that looks like the attached image, only represented somehow as a 3d model I could use in webgl.
It's interesting how I am totally unable to find a free download anywhere on the web.
was gonna post in /r/ since it's kinda a request but also intending open discussion as to how technology isn't advanced enough to where I could somewhat easily find a free 3d model of the internet somewhere on the internet.

Nowadays, everything interesting is hidden behind nat. A 3d model of 4 billion routers is kind of pointless.
Do take a look at shodan though, it's a search engine that scans public facing internet infrastructure and maps it out geographically. Good for finding random ip cameras, telco sctp ports and all sorts of interesting things.

You want a model of the actual and whole internet?

no, just an arbitrary model, one that shows the figure in the image but as a 3d json or obj file.
It could be simplified, but the bigger and better the model, the better

doesn't have to be 4 billion points, it can be a simplified model
