Because the OS itself isn't that bad, I liked the tiles thing, and the native apps run pretty smooth. Plus the battery life is great. Only bad thing about them is NO APPS

Only half true, Microsoft still cares about releasing updates for WP10 and improving it alongside W10.

They dropped the hardware division, and probably fired or moved a bunch of people from the phone software team, but WP10 isn't quite dead from Microsoft's side. Not yet, at least.
