Yes...its for my vaporizer. I quit smoking...yada yada...it is what it is. But from what I can tell there are only a handful of actual Li-Ion 18650 mfgs. Protected circuit or not. Mine are approx. 65mm long and I don't think I can fit a 68mm internally protected circuit. Then again seeing what happened to my friends motorcycle I doubt the internal circuitry. So...what should I buy and from where I won't get chinese bull?
>>56204087
samsung phone batteries are shit but i don't know about 18650's
still would stay away
>>56204087
why did you quit smoking?
DUDE MOUTH FEDORAS LMAO
>>56204105
LG? I mean how many people actually make LI-Ion batters. Certainly not "Efest."
>>56204124
I'm 30. Everyone in my family has died of stroke or cancer. Honestly my ex pushed me to and my asthma has never been better.
>>56204125
Thank you buddy. I believe its called a "douche flute" but I just want battery advice.
These are used in cameras and other devices I'm sure so somebody here has to know what to buy. Ignore the application, and let's just talk Li-Ions of said size? k?
>>56204087
go to leddit if u want actual tech help faggot
>>56204087
"gee I wonder who I should ask about e-cig batteries!"
"4chan!"
Go google a vape forum, preferably a big one full of old, experienced shitheads. Listen to them. Not us.
>>56204162
If I know correctly, 18650's are supposed to be very safe. Panasonic, AW, EagleTac, Olight, etc. are supposed to be fine. DO NOT buy *Fire ones (if you actually want fire).
>>56204162
Go online and get yourself some IMR batteries.
Samsung, Sony, Sanyo, Imren, MXJO, these are all good brands. I personally recommend
If you don't live in the middle of fucking nowhere you can find these at vape shops.
Otherwise buy them online. From vape shops. Don't buy them from China you fuck.
There's three basic rules to battery safety: Use good batteries in a device with protective circuits and a good charger.
For vaping, rule #1 -- see above. rule #2 means a variable wattage mod -- usually they will have lockout features to prevent constant discharge. Rule #3 means get a charger that's more than $5, everyone uses Nitecore but whatever floats your boat.
>>56204087
>Can we talk 18650 batteries?
no we can't, mouth fedora fags fuck off.
>>56204087
Those LGs you posted are the best you can buy.
>>56204377
Yay more faggots saying to buy rewrapped counterfeit chink shit. thanks bro.
>>56204395
The problem is cuz of the "vape" market its nothing but rewraps and all sorts of hell u can't imagine.
>>56204407
>>56204439
Gracias. I can't trust the local stores nor amazon as they are all counterfeits. I'll guess i''ll try to buy through my work but they are all 'suspect/counterfeit' and have been for years. I just want a legit vendor...and i've yet to find one. Figured the camera guys may know, or y'all.
>>56204414
Is it too much to ask to find where I can get non-counterfeit items? Enjoy you "chinese" ipad dickhead.
>>56204407
To add to this my device has internal protection but I'm sick of buying counterfeit products. Amazon may as well be alibaba.
Why not use eneloops
I don't know anything about for vaping use but I I've used Nitecore and Olight in my flashlights and have never had any kind of issues.
>>56204779
Which is my problem, flashlight compaines re-wrap legit batteries with their own label. The vape world with rife with scams. I just want to buy LG/Samsung/etc. but I've now idea where. Amazon is rife with scammers. Brick and mortars know no better...IDK thanks the advice I will look into flashlisht batteries the premium is worth knowing you aren't buying chinese bullshit.
>>56204855
Buy Panasonic ones, you'll not regret it.
>>56204863
From Panasonic? I mean I'm down for that but every third party fucks you...And last I saw I had to order a few thousand before they gave me the time of day?
Counterfeit batters (and everything) are a way bigger deal than most make it out to be. I have the equipment to test but nothing has ever passed the claims on the labels...
>>56204105
I have a Samsung cell for my torch, it's pretty good.
>>56204087
For raw capacity nothing beats panasonic iirc
>>56204902
Just give me a vendor who won't fuck me. Thats all I'm looking for.
>inb4 amazon
Go for one of the flashlight oriented vendors. Orbtronic is solid, will post battery info graphic if i can dig it up.
>>56204087
Buy a Xiaomi 10k powerbank, open it up and get the cells.
3 3400mAh for $10-15
<<<<Batter Infographic
Like I said go with orbtronic.com or one of the other vendors that cater more to the flashlight crowd.
I personally use the LG HG2. But if you are a retard and are using an unregulated/mech mod you may want to look at other options.
>>56204966
Thanks bud got some "real" LGs HG2s on the way. Sure these ones will pass the voltage and discharge tests I have.
>>56205056
saved. thanks bro.
Vapae fags man...the are just fools. Thanks bro.
>>56204527
Find a good vape shop in your city. There's bound to be at least one if you live in a big enough area.
>>56204930
Ecig shops.
>>56204930

>>56205000

>>56204855
>Amazon rife with scammers
>Not buying directly from Amazon or at least from a merchant fulfilled by amazon
>>56205137
Vape shops all sell garbage rewraps and fakes, the owners don't have a clue or don't care.
>>56205212
Can vouch for them, no fakes.
>>56205427
Even direct from amazon its all fake garbage now. Hell they even sell "1000gb flash drives" these days.
>>56205450
Show me one "1000 GB flash drive" sold by Amazon and not some sketchy 3rd party.
>>56205212
this. and IMRbatteries.com
>>56204087
Not a mouth fedora faggot here, but I too would like to know about good 18650 batteries.
I think my Convoy S2+ and C8 takes them, and I'd like a good charging station and batteries.
>>56206569
Almost the same here. Convoy S3 takes 18650, too. I bought pic related from GB, hopefully they won't go off in my face.
As a charger i use a Nitecore UM10 which i got for ca. 9-10€ from GB. Has everything i need, you can scan QR to be sure it's legit and they offer 1 year limited warranty for free, chink shit usually only has about 3 month.
