What do you think of the latest EU auditing candidates? Would you have chosen different?

after i heard about this, i started using keepass.
i have never used a password manager before.
Nah thats fine. I saw it mention that firefox was another candidate which that would be fine too. but those two are totally fine a lot of stuff runs apache it would be very valuable to have it audited. Same thing with keepass it would be great to confirm that its encryption is sound.
Good on them

someone has to audit the fucking gnupg
>>56203676
keepassx is better. that shit requires mono or wine to work on anything that is not windows.

Yyu mean confirm that it's encryption is bullshit
keep in mind that code audits can never be fully comprehensive or find every single issue and may only rule out the more obvious stuff like blatant backdoors and verify the implementation of the encryption standards are secure
truecrypt had an audit and very shortly after a full system compromise bug was found, albeit the truecrypt audit mostly focused on the implementation of the encryption due to funds
Question:
I'm interested in using Keepass on my phone because currently I'm saving my passwords in a note app but it backs up to the cloud and I don't trust it. But since there's no official Keepass app for Android, which one is dependable?

Keepass2Android works like a charm for me. I use it together with Dropbox (for database) and a keyfile (only on devices). The keyboard bundled is really nice too.
