Linus knows his shit in regards to tech, he just tends to be shit at getting it across. I've been a Linus fan for a long time but his reviews are almost annoying to watch at this point. They're short, contain little information and devote 99% to the positive aspects and then gloss over the negatives in the remaining 1%. Also I hate that he arbitrarily fits almost all his content into the 10 minute slot, it's just way too little time for a lot of products.

linus himself can be a bit derpy, like that stupid VR backpack they did recently, but he also knows what the pros are interested in.

This is obvious when he shows off the server gear and that amazing supermicro case they got. Things like 8 gamers 1 machine, and their videos detailing their experiences with 10gbe. I want to see how others have fared using VT-d for vm passthru of consumer grade graphics cards, that has value for me in the line of work I do.

Linus is the only youtube channel I know of that has touched the topic without being completely wrong or misinformed because they're just parroting other sources. Same deal with their videos detailing 10gbe workflow.

Linus' best videos are the ones of him experimenting with expensive gear, Luke is the only one that can actually fairly review graphics cards & stuff.
