Nothing. The answer is nothing. It's been tried and tried and tried since they were taken off the shelves several years ago. There's always something off. Too big, too small, too fragile, too expensive, there just is nothing on the market that can truly replace the Sansa and wont be for a long time. Maybe the iPod Shuffle. It's low priced (for apple), small, light, has a clip and a damn nice, sturdy build. You lose rockbox and the screen but you can use playlists to circumvent it.
