Sup /g/, applefag here (pls no bully), i've noticed that with every os update my iOS device is working slower and slower. Recently they started force updates windows style, every fucking day i see update messages. So my question is: Do Apple do this shit intentionally to make you buy new iDevice or iOS is just getting more features that requires better hardware? Did anyone did any research on this? Thanks

I'm still running 9.3.2 because I don't know if I can be bothered to jailbreak.

I want to have firmware blobs backed up so a new IOS can't fuck me but otherwise I don't really give a shit about jb.

I don't think so. With every patch my iOS device is working slower and slower. I'm not talking about latest iPhone 6s, but I've noticed this on my iPad Air 1. I have feeling that they're bloating your device intentionally, so you would need to buy new one. Maybe I'm paranoid, but same shit happened to my 5s, I had to buy latest one, because after iOS 9 it started to work like tamagotchi.
