Is Usenet a meme?

It's pretty fucking neat to just set up nzbget, sonarr and couchpotato and don't have to deal with anything after that. Everything's automated.

It's pretty good technically but there is literally no reason to use it to pirate stuff now that bittorrent exists.

I love usenet. It has ssl connection and you can download alot on usenet. It's much faster than torrents for me.

It used to be good. But since a few years ago due to automated DMCA takedowns your selection of providers are limited to European ones. And even then they will obey a DMCA takedown but it's delayed a day or two.

It's fine for anime and music. And to some extent TV-shows. Movies though you can forget it. You need to pay some shady indexer site that password their releases. And the very mentioned indexer site is going to sell you out to MPAA if it isn't already ran by MPAA.
