Question:
When employers list "knowledge of wordpress program" what do they mean by that?
It's the only requirement and I've built few sites with WP before. I just don't get it, it's the designed so anyone can use it, why hire someone for it.
And also what is "WP programming"? Do they not know how it works or am I missing some new wordpress language?

You know those plugins and themes don't come falling from the sky.
It means they don't know what the fuck they're doing
sometimes you have to create your own themes and plugins because wp has some shitty arbitrary limits
or your company's design is just incompatible with all the themes and menu systems, like, who needs 3rd level dropdowns right?

I assume OP is talking about a development position. But it could also be they want someone to upload shit. I mean, writers might think it's a waste of time to add stuff and update links and such themselves.
