I'm confused. Why the fuck is Systemd hated so much?
Did you not see the ultra simple reasons defined in the last 6 threads today or are you just bored on a friday night?
Christ, just shut up already

Hipsters.
If you look closely, ALL the systemdless distros are irrelevant l337 distros. Can't argue on this

It's popular, better, and different than the original init system. All of these things are considered negative to autists.

There is literally another thread up right now with everything you could possibly want to know. Stop arguing for the sake of arguing

DUMB YUROLEL
I'd just like to interject for a moment. What you’re referring to as Linux, is in fact, SystemD/Gnu, or as I’ve recently taken to calling it, SystemD plus Gnu. Linux is not an operating system unto itself, but rather another free component of a fully functioning GNU system made useful by the GNU corelibs, shell utilities and vital system components comprising a full OS as defined by POSIX.
Many computer users run a modified version of the SystemD plus Gnu system every day, without realizing it. Through a peculiar turn of events, the version of SystemD plus Gnu which is widely used today is often called “Linux”, and many of its users are not aware that it is basically the SystemD plus Gnu system, developed by the SystemD plus Gnu Project. There really is a Linux, and these people are using it, but it is just a part of the system they use.
Linux is the kernel: the program in the system that allocates the machine’s resources to the other programs that you run. The kernel is an essential part of an operating system, but useless by itself; it can only function in the context of a complete operating system. Linux is normally used in combination with the GNU operating system: the whole system is basically SystemD plus Gnu with Linux added, or SystemD / Gnu . All the so-called “Linux” distributions are really distributions of SystemD plus Gnu.
here we go again
Let me just sum up this discussion:
>why the hate for systemd?
>someone posts reasons
>another guy says it's just autists mad about it
>first guy tells him he's wrong and there are reasons
>2nd guy posts the usual "GIVE ME ONE REASON TO REMOVE SYSTEMD FROM MY OS"
>lots of shitposting inbetween
>someone posts the usual links found at http://without-systemd.org later on
>autists still fighting over why that one faggot should remove systemd from his OS even though he has no fucking idea what it even does
there, now fuck off
>>56172761
>someone posts reasons
LMAO No
>Gpl licensed, free and open source
>"Just werks"
>Faster boot process
>Eliminates bloat/meme packages
There is NO reason why one should delete systemd from his system. There is nothing systemd can't do what other init systems can.
>Botnet
Source is open, show where
>Not Unix
Neither is linux
>pottering
So what packages did YOU make yesterday?
>>56172859
fuck off lennart, atleast put up a trip so I can filter you
>>56172875
>may be if I hide them, they'll go away
haha suck it all up
It's not that systemd sucks now but it surely will suck.
>>56172887
>a person should read someone's same shitposting every day
makes sense
