Hey guys. recently switched back to master race after way too long.
I remember back when I had Windows XP I would use Spybot Search and Destroy and CC Cleaner. Do I still need these? And do I need to run them often like i used to? Or is that a thing of the past now?
I'm on Windows 10 if that matters.
p.s. how do i activate this shitty OS i dont have a product key... but whatever not important it still runs i guess
Buy a product key you retard.

CCleaner is okay, replace s&d with mbam and yeah it's all you need, no antivirus needed.
>Windows 10
why would you downgrade to 10? Just install w7 or 8.1, activate it with ms toolkit and don't update.

Fuck off.
Install Linux or some other free shit

thanks man, will do.
i cant install windows 7, this motherboard has problems with that and it was way easier to just plug in a win10 usb and go.

ccleaner tends to get rid of useful things like cookies (so you don't have to log in) and MRU stuff, which was put in so you don't have to type the same things over and over again.
It also tends to get rid of log data in case your computer crashes, which is useful to people who troubleshoot computers.
I barely use it anymore

hey man, we all have our reasons

Use Malwarebytes and Bleachbit
>>56171594
thanks ill checkout bleachbit never heard of that. it seems malwarebytes is a thing you have to run? its not constantly monitoring?
>>56171637
that's the point
You use Common Sense 2016 + firewall for your daily computing and run monthly or weekly mbam scans.
no "real time protection" memes slowing down everything

cool cool, thanks guys. feel like im all settled now, just finished my new build and everything :) dont have an activated windows10, but apparently you can still switch the wallpaper anyways without it, and thats all that really matters about being activated really lol.
