Poweramp is the best, but if you don't want to pay then just check out f-droid and search music player. Pick one that has recently been updated it and use it til you find a reason to be dissatisfied

Blackplayer is not bad. However, I just use the CM music player that came preinstalled with CM 13. It's simple and does everything I need it to. The only shitty thing is that they used a circle for "searching" the track as opposed to a line like any other normal program.

I like shuttle. Atm I'm using the cyanogenmod player

Poweramp is OK for it's price, it's lower here because summer sales even. GoneMAD music player is way better but it's 5$. Neutron is fucking everyone at 8$. I can't recommend anything else because they're literally just a wrapper for the built-in audio player.

My preferred desktop player is foobar but the program keeps fucking up on my pc, the player stutters whenever I have a intensive process running at the same time as foobar.

I'm trying clementine and its decent, and doesn't stutter, but its not the same lol
