Supposedly they throttle your wifi hotspot usage after 8 gigs but I couldn't get native hotspot working. So after rooting did some messing around, wifi tether router worked but would cut out after ten minutes. Turns out there's a hidden system app called ItsOn.apk that literally just turns your wifi on or off and back on or off every ten minutes. I feel like it's specifically there SO people can't use third party hotspot apps. Lo and behold, deleted the shit out of ItsOn.apk and now basically have unlimited hotspot. Months later it still works fine so dunno what to tell you
