i just use avira. it has an ad that pops up once ina while, but its stopped everytthing . never had any problems since i started using it. norton slowed my pc down when i used it.

Norton hasn't been any good ever since Peter Norton sold it.

It was turning Pentium and 486 based machines into boat anchors literally over 20 years ago and still does to this day.

AVG, Avira, and Avast all managed to piss me off one way or the other.

Firewall rules, adblock, and a backup drive. The first two block the shitter adware/spyware. Backup drive for when your PC gets fucked up from a virus that most software won't help with anyways (ransomware/RATs).
