You're not using more than 1 GPU and you aren't using a 10Gb/s NIC, nor a large RAID array. The only difference between the 5930k and 5820k are the extra PCIe lanes, and you're using none of them... the 5820k has 28 PCIe lanes, the 5930k has 40PCIe lanes. You're using 20. So even on a 5820k you'd have 8 PCIe lanes to spare, as it is you paid $200 for the privilege of having 20 PCIe lanes sit unused.

Built this pc to persuade myself it was the pc's fault I was too lazy to enjoy video games since i upgraded from a shitty amd apu build after three years of use

I'm impressed by the performance and I can finally decently play vidya, but I still feel empty inside. It's weird, I find the games fun but having fun is tiring?? and I end up closing out the game after an hour or so.
