Just bought a Seagate Barracuda (Factory-Recertified) 5TB 3.5" Internal Desktop Hard Drive for $140 at microcenter. Is there anymore of a chance of this hard drive failing more then a new one?

If it's been shipped around more, especially on its own, that's more chance for it to recieve the type of physical trauma to have created a ticking time-bomb. It would not have been checked at the factory for internal damage, only that it still passed tests when plugged in and used at the time.
