hey /g/, do you think a monitor with...
>4k
>oled
>144hz refresh rate
>g-/freesync
>10ms or lower displaylag
...will appear on the market in 2017?
bonus: all of the above in a 21:9 form factor.
i personally think it's possible, but 21:9 is stretching it.

Yeah I was gonna say ultrawide
>ultrawide is bae
I say 2018 maybe

yeah, people say that 21:9 in 4k is not feasible with today's graphics cards, but once the 1080ti drops (i hope it does with a similar distance in release dates as the 980 and 980ti) two of them will probably run anything.

It's easily feasible, I currently play at 3440x1440 100hz with one 1080. Just two 1080s would be fine if you left off those 3-4 BS graphical settings that don't so much. Ti's would definitely be fine.

I think all of that will happen by next year.
Only improvement:
>OLED
>>56159132
There actually 4K OLED 120he 0.1ms monitor from dell but cost $5000
Asus is really close.

That's my bae
>>56159394
>120hz
>>56159450
Im really on the fence about getting this, I already have a PG278Q,,,
>>56159132
>perfect monitor
>bonus if ultrawide
No.
>>56159450
yep, pretty much. i would i have cum right here and now if it was oled and 4k. it's really close but so far.
>>56159591
OLED blacks are too good.
If they can get this down to $900 I might just buy the ASUS and call it a day. It checks enough of the boxes.

Should hold until UW oled 4K 100+hz are under 1K.

this, i made this post because it just feels wrong buying a monitor when i know that we're so close to perfection.
