You and your connection are both Virgin.

I wish I had 10:1 download/upload speed ratio
having to live with 3rd world VDSL2.
>current year and less than 30mbit/s upload
You guys are being scammed.
I blame normies who think they need more than 5mbps to browse le FB
Well im getting cheated out of 1.2mbps download, but i'm also getting an extra 4.99mbps upload over what I pay for...
guess I can't complain
>inb4 change isp

Move to kansas city or if you're lucky you might have Time warner near you and they offer up to 50mb/s in Missouri depending on the area.

by choice...?

Cable company jacked the prices again and DSL's the only alternative
>>56159738
You know if you just call the cable company up and tell them you'll leave if they dont lower their price 9 times out of 10 they will lower the price.
I have been paying the introductory price "only" available to new customers for 5 years.

>You know if you just call the cable company up and tell them you'll leave if they dont lower their price 9 times out of 10 they will lower the price
Yup, already did that. This is that other one time out of 10.

kek, get fucked i guess
ignored the upload speed.
What's the point of having a high connection speed? My theoretical speed is 15 mbps, but downloads rarely exceed 1 mbps.
>>56160040
>downloads rarely exceed 1 mbps
more than likely your download rarely exceeds 1MB/s which is 8mbps.
15mbps is ~1.87MB/s
150mbps is 18.75MB/s
On your connection you can download a 10GB movie in about 90 minutes, on my connection it would take 9 and a half to 10 minutes.
I enjoy being able to download an entire season of TV or anime in 20 minutes.
Got friends coming over tonight for a movie? Sweet, I can download any movie i want in a few minutes in bluray quality or close to it.
Not to mention once you have more than 1 heavy user at once, anything under 50mbps will start slowing down. Just 3-4 people streaming youtube/netflix at the same time will eat up a good 20-30mbps.
