Porn sites are using the WebSockets API to fetch ads now, and Chrome doesn't expose that to extensions.

Gorhill added a kludge for it that ended up breaking a lot of websites, so he removed it.

Turns out for gelbooru they have just a javascript fetching ads, and a locally hosted embedded webm that won't go away (they keep renaming every month or so)


Experimenting with it, I seem to have made most of the ads disappear, except for the sex mmo thing that's giving me a hard time (that's the webm)
