What's the point of wireless phone chargers?
when you read these articles what questions did you still have?
USB ports are easy as fuck to break, the less you use them the better.

Plugging and unplugging in the same port, especially with small nubs to secure, wears out over time. Also, the plugs are easy to bend.
My old man has gone through three cables in a couple of months because he wants to read his tablet in bed while it is plugged in and fell asleep. He leaned/lay on the tablet/cable breaking them at the plug.

Plug in your phone during the day if it needs a quick charge, and let it sit on the wireless charger at night so the USB port stays less worn out during the phones lifespan.
you could scratch your screen on the usb connector end from frequent plugging and unplugging
