Build quality and better support are sheer nonsense. Screen is decent and so is the Tackpad, but thetrackpad also has its flaws. I prefer the trackpad on my T420. definitely not enough to justify the price. Tl;Dr I have rMBP which cost £1600 and a T420 that cost £120. I use the T420 for practically everything except ableton
